Founding Members

Rose and pet cat Max

Co-founder of EPWN

Rose Seemann

The operator of EnviroWagg, an EPWN project in Colorado U.S. dedicated to collecting and composting canine waste into safe, nutrient-rich, landscape soil. She established the program after her extensive investigations into the issue of pet waste disposal in North America.

Rose's goal is to educate and guide pet owners and communities  in the safe and responsible up-cycling of their dogs' and cats' waste. In doing so she hopes to nudge the world toward a more sustainable future.

Ruth and pet dog Lucy

Co-founder of EPWN

Ruth Miller

Ruth has spent most of her working years in a ‘harm prevention’ capacity in both government and not-for-profit sectors. In 2019, Ruth led a South Australian trial to divert all the dog waste at her local dog park from landfill to a composting facility. This was the beginning of her interest in encouraging more pet owners to consider eco-friendly options.

As a current owner of two Labradors, Ruth has ample opportunity to ‘walk the talk’ and composts Labrador poop in a tumbler!
