Aussie councils, time to do your business

Australian councils play a key role in providing residents with information about responsible pet ownership. Councils also have mandates to reduce organic waste to landfill. Many councils can provide more information to dog owners about options for environmentally friendly methods of dog waste disposal.

This 4-minute video produced by students at Melbourne's Deakin University, is encouraging councils to consider updating their websites and making information easier for dog owners to find. Perhaps dog owners can also contact their local council to encourage them to provide more options on their websites.
